BRIGHT LIGHT PROJECT:A DJ CONCEPT/FRANCO RECORDS PRODUCTION!!
A FRANCO RECORDS PRODUCTION
‘THE BRIGHT LIGHT SOLIDARITY PROJECT’
SCRIPT WRITTEN AND CONCEIVED BY JERRY CLEO (AKA DJ SKEEPER)
MISSION BY FRANCO BONGHAN (FRANCO RECORDS)
Lyrics:
Verse1: I can see the people, they be dying every day and I know nothing’s alright You think its rainfall, but its tears from people’s eyes and I know nothing just a’int right
Refrain: If you read my lips, it says to you, what goes around, comes around
Chorus: Cos in this world, if you do to others, what you want to be done to you, you’ll make the difference Cos every time, you’ve got a second or even a minute, just show some love
Verse 2: If you think you’ll hurt and stay happy Every night on your bed you’ll sit and weep till you are forgiven The hurt will hunt you all your life What does it profit a man let’s just face it You can gain the world and lose your soul
Refrain: If you read my lips, it says to you, what goes around, comes around
Chorus:
Cos in this world, if you do to others, what you want to be done to you, you’ll make the difference Cos every time, you’ve got a second or even a minute, just show some love
Verse 3: From North to South, there are still innocent people From East to west, they plan their children’s future All we can say in this repent to God and stop the violence We also thinking about the peace loving people who (serve as victims) Who lose their lives and their loved ones? Lord takes their souls and ascends them into heaven
Refrain: If you read my lips, it says to you, what goes around, comes around
Chorus: Cos in this world, if you do to others, what you want to be done to you, you’ll make the difference Cos every time, you’ve got a second or even a minute, just show some love

"THE MISSION AND VISION OF ‘THE BRIGHT LIGHT SOLIDARITY PROJECT’
In today's world people are still starving, hunger and poverty remain the most important threats to human civilization. Technology is growing at the fastest pace ever yet advances in technology seem to help to make the world more dangerous than safe. There is a need for solidarity among nations, among tribes, among regions, and within races to provide a moral foundation for understanding and cooperation. Cultural relativity has never been more important than now as we face great challenges of civil wars, (in Congo women are being killed and raped in their numbers, in Syria children and women are being killed in their numbers, in Jerusalem, we still dream of a lasting peace that will guarantee dignity to both Palestinians and Israel, in Sudan, the two states solution still suffers from the ashes of a 50 year civil war. Dictators around the world still holding their people in bondage just for another day in office. In Nigeria, the Boko Haram poses a major threat to stability and peace.
The threat of nuclear weapons has never been this close where nations constantly flex their nuclear muscles to win an ideological battle; the nuclear nonproliferation treaties only help to accelerate the nuclear arms race. People are leaving more in fear than peace, AIDS, malaria in Africa, cancer is killing faster that the ak47’s can shoot, medical research is sometimes over powered by the probabilities for profit, we watch these every day as we drop our kids off to school just to learn there was a shooting at the same school, we realize our place of worship has become a place of fear, the ‘Boston Marathon’ after a century of togetherness has become the ‘Boston Bombing’. The Middle East Spring revolution has become the Middle East Nightmare as we no longer can define who is right and who is wrong.
‘The bright light Solidarity Project’ is a simplistic musical approach in addressing some of these issues. As musicians and music executives , we owe a duty of leadership to our fans, our families, our countries and to the world to spread awareness through music, what we sing can go a long way to heal the divide and pave a channel of understanding through our lyrical manifestations which is often listened beyond the scope of our imagination. Music is live, music is love, music is vital in every struggle, when we sing, we don’t just express our sentiments, but also use our musical influence as goodwill ambassadors to fight for change in this fast world of violence, crime, hatred, tribal and religious chauvinism.
Our music can and will bring a great contribution in fighting injustice, religious intolerance, women’s rights, the right to education, the right to freedoms as we all crave for a better world of tomorrow. Most artists should think about this as their influence in music should not just provide an enigmatic dancing groove but also use their influence in achieving greater moral foundation for understanding and peace the world over.
This project is an attempt to address the above human dangers affecting our society while creating awareness through music embedded in one word ‘LOVE’

PROJECT NEW BAMENDA: THE LAUNCH EVENT!....
Totally loving the new wave of "patriotism" seeping through the vains of young Cameroonians. Project New Bamenda is one that has shown so far that "WHEN THERE IS A WILL, THERE IS A WAY".....As I read through the PNB Ambassadors and their profiles, I only imagine the potential of a powerful global Cameroonian network of professionals, artists, budding entrepreneurs and business people!
What is Project New Bamenda all about?
The vision of Project New Bamenda is to propel the North
West Region of Cameroon into a new business and entertainment era
It takes one great idea to change lives and a
people forever.
It takes a handful of willing, passionate and
driven young people to dare take the bold step that will move their hometown from
shadowed city to a global force to reckon with.
That’s what Project New Bamenda is about. It’s about passion, vision,
innovation, entrepreneurship. But first of all, it’s about love. Love for a “Mother-City”.
Love a region and its landscape. Love for its hospitable and hardworking
people. Love for the childhood fondest memories the North West Region has
marked our hearts forever.
This love has followed us in our journeys
around the world, in the search for greener pastures; walking the streets of
New-York and the avenues of Paris with us, up the skyscrapers of Dubai, in the fog
of London and under the sun of Rabat. It has made us stronger in the adversity,
moving us forward and further to the highest ladders of success, growing us
from children to men, from sweethearts to women. Now is the time to give back. It is time to inspire, those at home and abroad to lead the path and
pave the way for success. It is time to create opportunities for our
brothers and sisters, sons and daughters, friends and strangers, to bloom, to
shine, to thrive.
Project New Bamenda is a process of developing the
economic atmosphere in the North West Region of Cameroon. The North West Region
is being pushed to the background yet has a lot of potential in business and
entertainment.Project New Bamenda will
unveil this wild and immense talent, untapped business savvy individuals
waiting to be developed.
Through a series of events including business
trainings, fashion shows, art exhibitions and concerts, Project new Bamenda will propel the North West Region and its
capital, Bamenda into a new business and entertainment era to its full
bloom.
The event debuts on May, 19th 2013 with
a glamorous dinner event that will see the crème de la crème of Bamenda come out to this red carpet event followed by the launching of the first-ever business
directory of the North West Region - the Big Yellow Pages - a fashion show by
renowned local designers – with a special participation of KibonenNY –
the recognition of the excellence in business with the presentation
of the Milestones Awards and the performance of “Artists of the New Era”.
Project New Bamenda has already gathered the
support of many ambassadors, companies and sympathisers, all “Bamendians” at
heart, working hand on hand, to put Bamenda on the map.
We are very thankful to Looks, Jing &
Partners, MTN Cameroon, Ndawara Highlands Tea Cameroon, BGFI Bank Cameroon, Saddle
Hill Ranch, Blue Pearl Hotel, Essoka Security, Imagine, WHITE House Restaurant,
Kibonen|NY and Cameroon Fashion CIG for being such wonderful backers. Together,
we are giving life to the concept of the “New Bamenda” and more, we are giving
hope to a Region that deserves the best.

A MOTHERS STORY...
Mothers have a special bond with their children that cannot be explained.About 2 weeks ago, I featured Baby Alexia's Story here.
Her Mother, Camilla tells her story...
My name is Camilla. I am a wife and a mother of 4 beautiful children. We live a normal middle class life in the suburbs of the capital city of Cameroon called Yaounde.
You see, just like every other mother, I had great expectations when I was pregnant with my last daughter. I prayed to God for my precious bundle to come out healthy and strong. The other children were excited and we waited.
I had my baby, Alexia, on the 22nd of February 2012. While the birth was natural, all was not well. My little bundle did not look well. She had a slightly inflated abdomen. After several examinations, she was sent to the nursery where she was treated for an apparent infection. Rather than have the joyous moment of bonding, we were worried and guessing what was wrong with our baby. Unfortunately, due to our less developed medical system in Cameroon, we were sent home a few days later with more worries than answers or sense of direction. Two days later, we noticed she still was not looking alright and won’t even eat. She was feeble. We therefore began our search for treatment for our daughter.
After meeting several pediatricians, we ended up at a major treatment center in Yaounde called “Foundation Chantal Biya”. She had a blood transfusion that same day and we were hospitalized for another 10 days at this facility, where she was eventually diagnosed with Biliary Atresia. I watched in horror as my baby’s little body endured a battery of treatments from several treatments for an “infection”......
Please Click Here for the rest of the Story.
I have received lots of questions and feedback about this fundraiser. It is very encouraging and heartwarming to see the out pour of empathy, concern, compassion and open hands and hearts of many towards this cause.

Please Donate and join the family and friends of Baby Alexia make her dream for a liver transplant come true. If you have any questions, please contact the project coordinators (email contacts are on the website
Stay tuned for updates on the progress of the fundraising drive.

"CHEATERS" STARRING MS. OKAWA SHAZNAY PREMIERS IN ACCRA MAY 24th!!
Ms. Okawa Shaznay is repping' Camer all the way in GH!!
She stars in the upcoming movie series "Cheaters"...
SYNOPSIS:
Are you ready for that one hell of an interesting and entertaining ride? A ride that you can very much relate to in life, and have a lot in common with…
‘Gone are the days when women respected marital wows’…True or False?
If you’ve ever knocked your head against the wind over the question ‘what is that wives are not doing that concubines are doing?’, then it is time to know the answer in CHEATERS.
This is exactly how ‘CHEATERS’, the 10 book story puts things;
“They say that marriage is the only war in which you sleep with the enemy. And if the couple is inseparable, it usually takes 5 people to separate it!
‘Cheaters’ reflects just that!
Love is a mysterious adventure that takes you through many twists and turns. Add a bit of infidelity to the mix and you have the perfect recipe for disaster!
‘Cheaters’ follows the stories of several young couples caught up in a spider web of love, lies and extramarital affairs. This exciting romantic comedy will keep you on your toes.
Watch as these love torn couples struggle to make it through another overrated love-fest called Valentine’s Day.”
Book 1 of ‘CHEATERS’ will be premiered at the SilverBird Cinema in Accra on 24th May, 2013.
From the Movie Set
Check out her FaceBook Page more updates!
Looks like it will be an exciting movie (series) ride..Love GH movie so definitely looking forward to it!Thumbs up to Ms. Okawa Shaznay...Keep flying the Green-Red-Yellow flag high!
